Eh, I'm from the complete opposite point of view - I don't have to leave because someone else hates me for whatever reason (I happen to be gay, and quite open about it with my guidlies/alliance, whom I run with 90% of the time I play, so of course discussions about our real lives comes into play). I become provocative to a point where they usually ragequit. For some reason it amuses me to no end that people aren't willing to put up with differences in a GAME... I find it funny that serries quotes partial sentences to make his argument and then asks peeps to delete their post becuase he jumped in all guns blazing without reading.

I usually do provoke people, but mostly with people at uni, just to have an argument, nothing really serious but on the internet its just not as fun and doesn't mean anything. The chances of you changing someone's mind is so small from the internet.

Thats why the internet is serious business because of people like the OP.

IMHO, if they care so much about whichever decision I make that doesn't have any relevance and halts a run/mission because of it, GG. If they only stick around to insult me or whoever else is in my team for whichever reason, I'd rather them being gone; therefore I DO provoke. I had it happen; some DID admit to being homophobic and tried their best not to insult me or anything, those I don't mind and I make efforts as well not to provoke them. They make efforts, I do the same. It's the others, the ones that won't shut up, that are going to do EVERYTHING to make sure YOU fail in this game because you're not like they want, that I just can't stand and WILL provoke. I probably set a bad example... but so far it worked for me.

Not to divert from the "Hey, let's spam our own belief of logic to the guy above me who called me an idiot " status this thread has seemed to pick up, but if someone is making racial slurs in game, they are violating the EULA, and should receive a suspension or a permanent ban (for repeat-offenders) as you have provided sufficient proof. A "Turn on chat filter" comment shouldn't be all they're doing, unless they don't really care if people are violating the EULA...

Believes, I was refering to religion and socal believes, sure there is genocide and reigous fundualmentlism, but the key was EDUCATION, to educate persons and explain what is exceptable in socity and what is not. Education of human history, all of it, and not just what is politically correct.

That means explaining the double standard, and why some people find certain words like articulate racist when a white person uses it to give a positve compliment to a Black person.

I hate to say it but many african Americans have brought the hate on to themselves, simply by excepting a double standard as the norm.

The N word is racist no matter who says it, understand?

The OP (Opening Post, not Opening Poster) covers a subject that obviously many of the more juvenile member of this forum can't handle. That means the disgusting behavior that has been presented was bound to happen, and if this thread is left open, will continue to happen. So, I suggest the closing of the thread, which I did by reporting the post that started the thread. That's all. Nothing wrong with the OP (as in Opening Poster), just the thread itself.
